Nomad is one of the cheapest fixed-data eSIMs for Vietnam (5 GB for 30 days at 10 dollars, 20 GB at 25) and the only big brand that lets you switch host network by hand between Vinaphone, MobiFone and Vietnamobile. Viettel is missing, its unlimited plans do not publish their daily cap, and unlimited purchases are non-refundable.

On price alone Nomad is hard to beat among the brands travellers already know: 1 GB for 7 days at 4 dollars, 5 GB for a month at 10, 20 GB at 25. The data-only plans are refundable if you have not installed them, and top-ups keep the same eSIM alive for a second trip.
The network story is mixed. Nomad connects to Vinaphone, MobiFone and Vietnamobile and lets you pick one manually, which is useful when a network is saturated in a tourist spot. But Viettel, the operator with the widest rural coverage, is not on the list, so Nomad is a city-and-coast eSIM.
Skip the unlimited plans unless you really need them: Nomad does not say where the daily slowdown starts, and those plans cannot be refunded. A 20 GB plan at 25 dollars covers most two-week trips with room to spare.
