GigSky is a long-established American eSIM brand with a solid app and multi-network coverage in Vietnam (Viettel and Vinaphone, according to third-party checks: GigSky itself does not name its partners). Its prices sit in the middle of the pack, around 14 dollars for 5 GB over 30 days, but the official website only shows them once you are inside the app, which makes comparing before you buy harder than it should be.

GigSky has sold travel data since 2010 and it shows in the app: clear installation, top-ups, a trial allowance, and a plan that starts counting at first connection in Vietnam. For the network it relies on, we had to turn to third-party tests, which report Viettel and Vinaphone. That combination is good news for anyone leaving the big cities.
The weak point is transparency on price. On 13 October 2026 the Vietnam page showed "from 3.99 dollars" and a loading spinner. The four tiers we list (1 GB for 7 days to 10 GB for 30 days) come from comparison sites updated in October 2026 and reflect an automatic discount GigSky shows in-app; another source lists the 5 GB plan 10 % cheaper. Treat them as a range, not a quote.
At those prices GigSky is neither cheap nor expensive. If coverage outside cities matters, it is a reasonable pick; if price is what matters, BNESIM or Airalo cost half as much for the same data.
