International hospitals and clinics in Vietnam
Where to get treated as a traveller in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Da Lat, Hue, Sapa and Ninh Binh: 39 facilities listed by the embassies of France, the United Kingdom, Australia or Germany, checked one by one on their official websites.
Emergency numbers in Vietnam
Operators mostly speak Vietnamese: give the address written in Vietnamese, or ask your hotel to call. In a city, a taxi or ride-hailing car to the nearest hospital below is often faster than an ambulance.
This page is not medical advice. In a life-threatening emergency, call 115 or go to the nearest emergency department. Phone numbers and opening hours change: call before you go.

Before you go: insurance and payment
International hospitals and clinics ask for a deposit or payment on the spot unless they have a direct billing agreement with your insurer. Call your insurer's assistance line first: it can confirm the agreement, send a guarantee of payment and organise a transfer or a medical evacuation.

How we built this list
We kept the facilities that the embassies of France, the United Kingdom, Australia or Germany recommend to their nationals in these cities, then checked each one on its official website on October 29, 2026: address, emergency line, 24/7 emergency department, direct billing with insurers. When a point could not be confirmed, the page says so.
Being on an embassy list is not an endorsement: embassies give these lists for information, without guarantee. We do not rate facilities and receive no payment from them.
