11 facilities in Ho Chi Minh City recommended to foreign travellers by at least one embassy, with what matters in an emergency: 24/7 emergency department, languages spoken, direct billing with your insurer.
FV Hospital, listed by all four embassies, is the reference for emergencies and hospital care; Vinmec Central Park and AIH also have 24/7 emergency departments. In the centre, the international clinics (CMI, Family Medical Practice, Raffles Medical) handle consultations, and CMI has French-speaking doctors.
Emergency numbers in Vietnam
Operators mostly speak Vietnamese: give the address written in Vietnamese, or ask your hotel to call. In a city, a taxi or ride-hailing car to the nearest hospital below is often faster than an ambulance.

International hospitals and clinics ask for a deposit or payment on the spot unless they have a direct billing agreement with your insurer. Call your insurer's assistance line first: it can confirm the agreement, send a guarantee of payment and organise a transfer or a medical evacuation.
How we built this list
We kept the facilities that the embassies of France, the United Kingdom, Australia or Germany recommend to their nationals in these cities, then checked each one on its official website on October 29, 2026: address, emergency line, 24/7 emergency department, direct billing with insurers. When a point could not be confirmed, the page says so.
