Vietnam hotels — code updated October 9, 2026
Trip.com Hotel Promo Code: 5% Off with TDMHOTEL
An exclusive code for hotels booked on Trip.com, whose inventory is one of the deepest in Asia: boutique hotels in Hoi An, resorts in Da Nang and Phu Quoc, mid-range addresses in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
How to use the Trip.com hotel promo code
The code is entered at the payment step, after you have chosen the hotel, the room and the dates. Watch the rate type: the discount applies to bookings paid on Trip.com.
- 1
Copy TDMHOTEL
One click on the button copies the code and opens Trip.com's Hotels section. It applies to hotels booked on Trip.com, in Vietnam and in other destinations.
- 2
Set Trip.com to English and USD
Use the selector in the top-right corner of the site to choose the language "English" and the currency USD before you book. One caveat: these codes were issued by Trip.com's French team and validated in euros. If a code is refused at checkout, switch the site to French and EUR and try again — that is the fallback that works.
- 3
Choose the hotel and a prepaid rate
Filter by city and dates. Go for a "pay now" rate: "pay at the hotel" rates are settled on site and never go through the promo code field.
- 4
Paste the code before paying
On the payment page, open the "Promo code" field, paste TDMHOTEL and check that the total has dropped before confirming the booking.

TDMHOTELBooking your Vietnam hotel on Trip.com: what you need to know
Trip.com, Booking and Agoda largely sell the same hotels. In Vietnam, Trip.com and Agoda (both deeply rooted in Asia) often show the lowest mid-range rates — which is where a fixed code helps break the tie.
- ✓
Deep inventory in Vietnam. From Sapa homestays to Phu Quoc resorts, Trip.com lists most of what Vietnam has to offer, with photos, reviews and maps in English.
- ✓
Compare the final price, taxes included. Vietnam applies 10% VAT and many hotels add a 5% service charge. Always compare the total amount shown before payment, not the headline nightly rate.
- ✓
Free cancellation: read the deadline. Most Trip.com rates offer free cancellation up to a few days before arrival; non-refundable rates are slightly cheaper. In the rainy season or with domestic flights in the mix, keep the flexibility.
- ✓
Our tested hotels, city by city. To pick the right neighborhood and the right address, our annotated selections cover Hanoi, Hoi An, Da Nang, Hue, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc.
Our city-by-city picks of hotels we have tested are in our Vietnam hotel guide.
How much do you save with TDMHOTEL?
The 5% comes off the total booking amount at checkout. Over a full trip, it is the most valuable of our Trip.com codes:
| Booking | Listed price | With the code |
|---|---|---|
| Boutique hotel in Hoi An, 3 nights | ≈ $165 | ≈ $156.75 |
| 4-star hotel in Hanoi, 4 nights | ≈ $300 | ≈ $285 |
| Resort in Da Nang, 5 nights | ≈ $550 | ≈ $522.50 |
| 2-week trip, 6 hotels | ≈ $1,200 | ≈ $1,140 |
Indicative prices in USD seen in October 2026 for a double room; they vary by season, city and hotel. The exact amount appears before payment.

Does TDMHOTEL work on all Trip.com hotels?
The code applies to Trip.com's Hotels section. Some rates (pay at the hotel, already discounted offers, specific partners) may be excluded: the site tells you when you apply the code, before any payment.
Is the code restricted to new customers?
No, Trip.com has not told us of any account restriction for TDMHOTEL. One code per booking.
Can I combine the code with Trip.com promotions?
One promo code per order. If Trip.com is already applying an offer (member rate, flash deal), compare the two amounts and keep whichever is better.
Is Trip.com reliable for booking a hotel in Vietnam?
Yes: hotel bookings are confirmed immediately and payment is secure. The criticism of Trip.com mostly concerns flight disputes, not hotels. Read the cancellation terms before you pay.
Does the code work for a hotel outside Vietnam?
Yes, TDMHOTEL applies to Trip.com's Hotels section whatever the destination — useful if your trip also takes in Bangkok, Siem Reap or Singapore.
