Grab car (city centre, My Khe)

The app shows the pickup zone outside the terminal; drivers sometimes call to meet you at a nearby gate. Wait is usually 3 to 10 minutes.

Metered taxi

Official rank outside arrivals (Mai Linh, Vinasun, Tien Sa, Xanh SM). Insist on the meter; a flat “airport fee” quote is an upsell.

Grab or taxi to Hoi An

About 30 km south. Agree on the drop-off point: the Old Town is largely closed to cars.

Private transfer to Hoi An

Fixed price, driver waiting through flight delays, larger vehicles for groups. The simplest choice for Hoi An with luggage.

Book a private transfer

City buses pass near the airport but are not designed for travellers with luggage: for most visitors they are a false economy.

Fast track at immigration

Fast-track services exist for international arrivals and departures, with staff holding a sign before immigration. Most useful for the evening arrival peak.
