Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR), Nha Trang
Sân bay quốc tế Cam Ranh
Nha Trang has no commercial airport of its own: flights land at Cam Ranh, about 35 km south of the city, on a peninsula lined with beach resorts. International flights use Terminal 2, domestic flights Terminal 1. The ride to town is the part to plan.

Domestic flights (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang…). Functional, crowded at peak times.
T2International
All international flights. Opened in 2018, larger and newer than T1.
The two terminals are a short walk apart but there is no airside connection. On separate tickets, allow at least 90 minutes to collect your bags, change building and check in again.

- 3

Green channel if you have nothing to declare. Cash above USD 5,000 or the equivalent must be declared.

Grab car or Xanh SM
Usually a little cheaper than a metered taxi. Pickup zones can be confusing and some drivers cancel short trips to the peninsula resorts: keep your phone on.
Metered taxi
Mai Linh or Vinasun from the official rank outside arrivals. Walk past anyone offering a car inside the terminal, and refuse a driver who says the meter is broken.
Airport shuttle bus
The cheapest option, to a fixed drop-off point in Nha Trang, not to your hotel. Slow, with stops along the way; check the timetable on arrival.
Private transfer
Driver with a name sign, fixed price, flight tracked. The simplest choice for late arrivals, families and resorts outside town. Many peninsula resorts run their own shuttle: ask before you book.
Book a private transferTo the Cam Ranh peninsula resorts, fares are much lower than to the city; to Vinpearl on Hon Tre island, add the cable car or boat.
Fast track at immigration
A fast-track service meets you before immigration and takes you through a priority lane. Most useful in peak season, when several charter flights land together.

- Tell the driver which terminal you fly from on departure day: T1 and T2 have separate drop-off points.
- Ask your resort in writing whether its shuttle is free, and give it your flight number.
