(TITC) - The South East is located near Mekong River Delta – the biggest granary of Viet Nam, and is also the western gateway to Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia through Trans-Asia Road and the eastern gateway to ports of Sai Gon, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Thi Vai. So this region plays an important role in socio-economic development of the country, especially tourism with types of roots tourism, leisure tourism, sea tourism, eco-tourism...

To the South East, visitors have the opportunity to visit Ho Chi Minh City -Pearl of Far East, where owns many revolutionary relics and ancient architecture works such as Dragon House Wharf, Cu Chi Tunnel, Independence Palace, National Ancestors Temple, Ho Chi Minh Municipal Theatre… or ancient pagodas of Giac Lam, Ba Thien Hau, Dinh To Giac Vien…; churches of Notre Dame, Huyen Sy, Thong Tay Hoi, Thu Duc… and museums of War Remnants, Southern Women, Fine Art, History of Viet Nam ... The city also invested in many tourist areas such as Vam Sat – Can Gio,  Thanh Da, Binh Quoi, A Glimpse of Viet Nam; many amusement parks such as Dam Sen, Ky Hoa, Suoi Tien, Thao Cam Vien… attracting numerous domestic and foreign tourists.
