Day 01: Vientiane Arrival

Asiana Travel local guide will pick you up at International Airport (Flight TBA) and transfer to hotel for check in. Free at your leisure to explore the city. Overnight at hotel in Vientiane.

Day 02: Vientiane

After breakfast, we start visiting the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat PraKeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang stupa, we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxai which is well known as Vientiane own Arc de Triomphe before doing shopping at Morning Market / Lao textile then we head out to the Mekong Riverside for the sunset. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 03: Vientiane - Luang Prabang

Morning flight to LPQ. Upon arrival, visit stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrines of Wat Aham and Wat Mai; climb up the top of Mount Phousi: explore gilded stupa, view sunset over city and Mekong; then visit Night Street Market for handmade textiles of hill people. Sunset at Pu Shi hill. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 04: Luang Prabang - Khouangsi Waterfalls

Whole day: Rise early and see monks receiving offerings, visit Phosi Market, then continue to the Khouangsi waterfalls; along the way visit minority villages Ban Na Oun, Ban Ou and Ban Thapene; splash around in the pools near the waterfalls, on returning to Luang Prabang stop at the weaving village of Ban Phanom. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 05: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Caves - Hanoi

After breakfast, take a boat trip on the Mekong to the Pak Ou caves; along the way stop at Ban Kanghai village to taste the local rice wine; on returning to Luang Prabang stop at Ban Xang Khong. Transfer to the airport to departure for Hanoi. On arrival at Noi Bai International Ariport, you are met and transfered to hotel, Hanoi - Vietnam’s capital, is a stylish and gracious city that retain an unique old world charm and some Asia’s most striking colonial architecture. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 06: Hanoi a city tour - Lao Cai by train

AM: Pick up at hotel. Drive to the historic complex of Ba Dinh. Visit Ba Dinh Square, where The Late President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnams Independence on 2 September 1945, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, the must-see monument in Hanoi. It is an ancient Buddhist pagoda, built in the early 11th century in the reign of King Ly Thai Tong, all construction supported by only one pillar, resembling a Buddhist lotus.Tran Quoc Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple. 

PM: After lunch, visit Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature - The first Imperal school in Vietnam) built in 1070 during the dynasty of King Ly. After dinner, transfer to the Hanoi Railway Station for night train to Lao Cai at 21h45. Overnight on train.

Day 07: Lao Cai - Visit Sapa

The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at approximately 06:00. There will be a vehicle waiting to transfer us to Sapa. The drive to Sapa is only 33 km but it takes around 1.5 hours to make our way up the mountains. Buffet Brekafast at hotel.

PM: Drive to Ta Phin village, it's home to Red Dzao and black H'mong people where their original cultural existence untill now and Short trekking to Cat Cat village. Back to Sa Pa, overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 08: Sapa town - Lao Cai - Hanoi by train 

AM: After breakfast, transfer to Lao Chai. Continue to visit the Ta Van village, it's home to black H'mong. The trekking route offers some challenge as you balance on the rice terraces and a small trail on the steep mountainside. The vegetation is dense as the trail leads up to a peaceful village perched on the Hoang Lien mountainside.

PM: Lunch at local restaurant, check out of your hotel and transfer to Lao Cai. After dinner, connect with the night train departing for Hanoi at 21h30. Overnight on train.

Day 09: Hanoi - Halong bay

AM: Arrival in Hanoi at approximately 05h30 AM, after breakfast at local restaurant. Morning depart for Halong bay, we go through the scenic countryside. The wondrous Halong bay is truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic sights. Heading out of the town we embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong bay. This exciting five hour cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. Stay overnight on the Junk Cruise.

Day 10: Halong bay - Hanoi

Waking up and having breakfast served onboard. Continue cruising around the bay. Take sampan to visit Luon Cave and come back to the boat. Having brunch before disembarking and van will pick you up at the pier and transfer back to Hanoi. Visit Dong Trieu ceramic and pottery village on the way. Arrive in Hanoi at 04:00 pm. Free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 11: Hanoi - Tam Coc (Three Caves) - Hoa Lu - Hanoi

ABF, A 90km drive south of Hanoi will lead you to Ninh Binh, the site of the one capital city of ancient Vietnam before Hanoi took its leading role in 11th century. The area is featured by lots of well-known sceneries, which include Tam Coc Caves and Hoa Lu ancient capital with the old temples dedicated to King Dinh & King Le reigned in 10th century. The visit in Ninh Binh starts by a boat trip in Tam Coc where spectacular limestone karsts jut out from the green paddy fields reminding about Guilin (China) and Halong Bay of Vietnam, which gives this scenery the name “Halong-bay-on-land”. Further discovery in Ninh Binh will be continued in the site that used to be the kings’ palace in 10th century and now famous for the wooden relieves of the shady Dinh and Le temples. Drive back to Hanoi. Enjoy The special Vietnam traditional Water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 12: Hanoi - Hue

AM: Free at your leisure till taking a flight to Hue. Arrival Hue, check in hotel.

PM: Visiting two majestic and serene Tombs of Emperors: Tu Duc and Khai Dinh and  Royal Citadel which was constructed by Emperor Gia Long in the style of French military architect during the first decades of the 19th century. In the evening take a boat trip along Huong river (Perfume River), enjoy traditional folk songs. Overnight at hotel in Hue.

Day 13: Hue - Danang - Hoi An

AM: Transfer to Hoi An, on the way visit Hai Van pass - a site that is covered in clouds all year round, enjoy breathtaking views of mountain landscapes, long stretches of beach, turquoise water of Lang Co's lagoon and the East Sea Beyond and Visit Hoi An Ancient Town: The ancient architecture of Hoi An is a fascinating combination of Vietnamese traditional characters with Chinese and Japanese influence. Visit Japanese Covered Bridges, Phuoc Kien Merchant Temple, the 200 years old Tam Ky House, Chua Ong Pagoda, the vibrant market, a walking tour past many low tiled houses scattered along the small streets and assembly halls which reflect the town's multi-cultural past. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14: Hoi An - Danang - Ho Chi Minh (Saigon)

AM: Drive to Danang for visiting Cham Museum then transfer to airport for flight to Ho chi Minh city on VN 325 (13:40-14:40). A short Sai Gon city tour: Cho Lon (Big market of Chinese in Saigon), Thien Hau Pagoda, Shopping at China Town. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 15: Ho Chi Minh city - Cu Chi tunnels

After breakfast, enjoy a 2-hour drive northwest of Saigon to the Cu Chi tunnels, through urbanized areas and a lush southern Vietnamese countryside. This tunnel complex was dug in 1948 for the guerrillas to hide from French air and ground sweeps. The tunnels also served as communication routes, food and weapon caches, and as hospitals and living quarters for guerrilla fighters throughout the American war. Visit the underground villages to better understand the tunnels’ history, life in the tunnels and the Vietnamese people’s resilience during combat.

PM: Saigon city tour with: Opera House, a three-story classical theatre built to entertain the French colonists (outdoor visit); the former Hotel de Ville constructed for the French bureaucrats of Indochina in 1901, now The People's Committee building with no public access; the Notre Dame Cathedral, a stunningly massive red-brick edifice with twin spires, a clear reminder that French once ruled this city (open only 3-4pm every day, otherwise just an outdoor visit); the Central Post Office influenced by Renaissance architecture; and the former Presidential Palace, headquarters of the Saigon Government during the American war. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 16: Saigon - Mekong delta (Can Tho)

Hotel check out and departure for the Mekong Delta via vehicle. Upon arrival at My Tho, cruising by paddles along small creek to Mekong River estuary, to Con Phung (Phoenix Island). Countinue to the city of Can Tho, the unofficial capital of the Mekong Delta in the very center the world’s newest river delta. Check in hotel. Overnight at hotel in Can Tho.

Day 17: Can Tho - Saigon

Starts from Ninh Kieu boat quay, we cruise along the small and picturesque tributaries, we will see the Cai Rang floating market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who lives along the Mekong canals and you will roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill and a rice noodles making shop. A chance to discover the daily life of Vietnamese people in Mekong Delta then drive back to Saigon. Overnight at hotel in Saigon.

Day 18: Ho Chi Minh city - Siem Reap  

After breakfast, transfer to airport for a flight to Siem Reap. Upond arrival, you will be picked up by our local tour guide and transfer to the hotel check in.

The same afternoon, visiting the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature and other surrounded temples. Have an Elephan ridedinner at local restaurant with Apsara dance show. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 19: Siem Reap tour (Included Tonle Sap lake)

Breakfast at the hotel: The sightseeing tour of Angkor area we spend a full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with colums, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. This afternoon, you will take Tuk Tuk ride to complete your tours with a last visit to the floating village of Choueng Kneas, where you can find school restaurants, hospital, schooles and the floated forests on the great lake of Tonle Sap. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 20: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Phnom Penh. In the same morning, you will visit Toulsleng Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the killing field of Choueng Ek. Today, you will complete your tours with one hour cruise at Chaktomuk river. Overnight in Phnom Penh

Day 21: Phnom Penh departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Free at own leisure until the time met and transfer to the airport for the flight to the next destination. The ended of services.
