Day 1 - Hanoi Arrival ()
Arrival Hanoi and transfer to your hotel. The rest of today is at your
leisure to rest and relax or enjoy a brief walking to explore the
incredible Old quarter and charming lakes of Hanoi. The rest of today
is at your leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2 - Hanoicity tour and night train to Lao Cai-Sapa (B,L,)
After breakfast at the hotel, discover Hanoi capital city. Visit the
Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh & the Ho Chi Minh complex before enjoying a
nice lunch at local restaurant. This afternoon is free for you to
visit historical sites by yourself or shop in the Old Quarter with its
36 winding streets. Enjoy an early dinner at local restaurant before
boarding the train to Lao Cai.Overnight on the train.
Day 3: Sapa – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Ban Ho (B,L,D)
Early this morning arrive in Lao Cai and transfer along terraced
hillsides to Sapa, home to some of Vietnam's most colorful ethnic
groups. After breakfast, commence with a 12 km by jeep then trek down
hill to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority. Follow along the side of
Muong Hoa stream to Giang Ta Chai village of the red Dzao where we have
lunch at a local family. After lunch, we keep hiking to Ban Ho, the
village lies in the beautiful valleys, home-stay at the Tay minority
house to experience the architecture of their traditional house on
stilts and spend time beside them to exchange the cultures and
knowledge.O/n at the home-stay at the Tay local house
Day 4: Around Ban Ho - Sapa (B,L,D)
2km walking to a very nice waterfall discovered and named “the Lavie”
by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Enjoy swimming then
picnic-lunch on the bank. In the afternoon trek 4 km up to the main
road o get the jeep to return to Sapa. O/N at Boutique Sapa hotel
Day 5: Bac Ha market (on Sunday only) (B,L,)
Located at 110km from Sapa, Bac Ha mountain town is well-known by
travelers with the most colorful market of the hill tribes in the North
of Vietnam. This every-Sunday-market attended by at least 8 ethnic
groups and last from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. It is also chance for
tourists to discover the H’mong King’s palace (old building built by
the French & Chinese).
In the afternoon, we go for a light trek to visit Ban Pho, the village
is home to flower H’mong minority. We are invited to enter several
local houses to have some green tea, corn wine, listen to the host
talking about their family, talk to them… and then enjoy landscapes on a
roundabout way to Bac Ha for get back to Lao Cai to catch the train to
Hanoi. O/n on train
Day 6 Hanoi -Halong Bay cruise package (B,L,D)
Early arrival in Hanoi (about 4h30 AM). Transfer to your hotelthen 8h00
join Halong Cruise transfer to Halong Bay where board a Halong junk to
start the romantic cruise.
Cruising the exquisite waters sample the regions fresh seafood. Visit
the recently discovered Surprise Grotto with its great views, and on
the next island see the yawning mouth of Bo Nau Cave. Alternatively
journey to Dau Go Cave and nearby see the famous stalagmites and
stalactites of Thien Cung Cave “ be advised by our tour guide. Enjoy a
swim in the emerald waters of Halong Bay at any spot that you wish to
visit. Watch the sun set over the bay whilst enjoying a delicious
dinner. Overnight on junk.
Day 7 Halong Bay - Hanoi (B,L,)
Wake up to fresh coffee and a wholesome breakfast before cruising back
to Halong City. En route the junk weaves through strange-shaped rock
formations that invite comparisons from fighting cocks to dragons and
even General de Gaulle’s nose! After another wonderful fresh seafood
lunch on board disembark at the dock at Halong City. Transfer by the
Halong cruiser back to Hanoi. O/N in Hanoi
Day 8 Hanoi - Departure (B)
After breakfast, Free for your last minute shopping until transfer to
Hanoi airport. Special tour package:
