A tourism festival will be held in the northern coastal city of Halong from April 29 to May 2, 2010 as the city is making every effort to promote itself as a tourism destination and mobilise votes for Halong bay as among seven new world nature wonders.(Detail)
The first Chau Van (trance) singing festival for the Red River Delta will be held in March 2010 in the northern province of Vinh Phuc, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.(Detail)

- Ky Yen Festival at Nguyen Tri Phuong Temple, from December 2nd to 3rd (from the 16th day to 17th day of the tenth lunar month)- Nguyen Trung Truc Temple Festival, from December 4th to 5th (from the 18th day to 19th day of the tenth lunar month)- Phu Le Communal House Festival, from December 24th to 25th (from the 9th day to 10th day of the eleventh lunar month)- Ha Thai Festival, from December 24th to 26th (from the 9th day to 11th day of the eleventh lunar month)- Duong Phuc Festival, December 31st (the 16th day of the eleventh lunar month)
